Congressman Jesulito A. Manalo

Engaged in the practice of corporate, business and investment law, Congressman “Jess” Manalo is a director in several private corporations involved in real estate development, banking, telecom and electronic manufacturing. He, likewise, acts as corporate secretary and general counsel of various corporate entities, engaged in the transport, software development, racing and leisure, construction, farm development and industrial-economic zone business. He is also an active member of several legal and professional entities like the Philippine Legal Forum, De La Salle-F.E.U. Institute of Law, Integrated Bar of the Philippines and the Philippine Bar Association. He is currently a representative in the congress of The Philippines for Angkla party-list that champions livelihood and support for Filipino seafarers.

Antonio Panajon

Served as President of Asiawide Refreshments Corporation and QY Pharma Corporation. Prior to joining ARC, Mr. Panajon served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cosmos and Bottling Corporation from 1990 to 2001 and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Pepsi Cola Bottling Company from 1974 to 1989. He serves as a Director of Export & Industry Bank Inc.

Jose Estagle

A retired executive from the life insurance industry. He is now active with civic/social projects as well as being one of the founding members of the La Salle Camera Club formed in the early 60s. Mr. Estagle has done photography work for Operations Brotherhood, Haggai Leadership Institute of Maui Hawaii, and Makati Medical Center among others. He continues to be an avid street life photographer and also conducts basic and comprehensive photography workshops.

Manuel delos Santos

A forerunner in the telecommunications industry in the Philippines, working with Ayala Corporation’s Strategic Planning Group in 1991 as Division Manager, overseeing the budgets, project plans and key initiatives of the holding company’s IT companies (Globe Mackay, Integrated Microelectronics Inc., Ayala Systems Technology, Inc.). He was then seconded to Globe Mackay (now Globe Telecom) in August 1992 as Head of Business Development. He was responsible for developing Globe’s new businesses arising from the grant by the Philippine Congress of a new Legislative Franchise enabling Globe Telecom to venture into new telecommunications services (prior to this, Globe Mackay was merely an international data carrier). On 1 October 1993, upon issuance of the GSM license, he was assigned to start up Globe Telecom’s Wireless Business and acted as SBU Head until July 2000. Started up Globe’s Wireless Data Business in August 2000. De Los Santos obtained his Bachelors of Arts in Economics at De La Salle University graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1979 and completed his MBA in 1982 from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Enrique Estrada

President at Federation of Batangas Rural Bankers Inc. He is currently a director in numerous banking bodies such as Confederation of Southern Tagalog Rural Bankers Inc., Security Bank SB Equities Inc. and is EVP, COO & Director at Summit Rural Bank of Lipa City. He also has extensive experience in the advertising industry having been VP and Director at Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA) from 1998-2004. He was Consumer Products Business Unit Head at General Milling Corporation from 1998-2004 as well as a director for the Advertisting Board of The Philippines.

Wilfred Victoria

An award-winning playwright with extensive experience in theatre, events management and marketing. He has won the Carlos Palanca Award for Playwriting twice, in 1980 for his one act play in Filipino, “Isang gabi sa Beerhouse” (1-Night in a Beerhouse) and in 1991 for his full-length play in Filipino, “Baclaran”. Other achievements include conceptualizing a new weekend supplement for a newspaper publisher resulting in two UNICEF awards for the publication, helping launch the first museum for children (Museo Pambata) in Manila, and in providing his marketing and promotional expertise to several major companies including an international airline and a continental television service provider. He is also currently doing volunteer work as a director for both the Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre, and the Philippines Canada Trade Council.

Joshua Alexander Manalo

 Joshua Alexander “Joey” Manalo currently divides his time between family, developing the foundation’s art collection and his passion for playing the piano. As a pianist, Joey started playing the piano at the age of six, under the tutorial of close family friends. Mostly self-taught, Joey navigated through scores and pieces on his own, eventually taking a Minor in Music while studying Psychology at Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA, graduating cum laude in 2009. He then had his orchestral debut on February 2011 in Insular Life Auditorium Philippines under the baton of American conductor Marlon Daniel. In 2013 he completed his Masters in Global Entertainment and Music Business at The Berklee College of Music, Valencia Campus. Joey has performed in many notable master classes and venues such as Cultural Center of the Philippines, Philam Life Theater, Fondation Bell’Arte Paris, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Wiener Musikseminar in Austria.

Atty. Francis Joseph Cruz

Francis Joseph “Oggs” Cruz graduated with a degree in Law from the University of the Philippines in 2007. Since then, he has been practicing as a lawyer specializing in various fields including labor and maritime law. Before Atty. Cruz became a lawyer however, he was already writing about films. In 2008, he was selected as one of the eight young critics from around the world to participate in the prestigious Berlinale Talent Campus in the yearly Berlin Film Festival. Having built a respectable reputation within the independent film community, Atty. Cruz has been selected to sit as part of the Selection Committees of various independent film festivals including the Cinemalaya, Cinema One, and Quezon City Film Festivals. He serves as the Philippines’ Motion Picture Ambassador for the Luang Prabang International Film Festival in Laos.
